Any company is only as good as the people working for it. At Westway we are lucky enough to have some of the best people in the industry:

Rob Gray – Projects
Rob has 20 years experience in Project Management with blue chip companies and construction consultancies. This wealth of experience gives him the knowledge base from which to drive project delivery and excellence within the project domain of Westway Services.
Currently at Westway Rob is delivering numerous projects across a number of sectors. Throughout his career he has worked on Projects as diverse as data center upgrades for live buildings to a value of £4M, through to a consultant management position leading a £350M new build corporate offices in London. Other past projects have included PwC, IBM, M&S, Wembley, Royal Hospital Chelsea and BSkyB.
However throughout all of Rob’s work what is consistent is his level of experience, his process, accountability and direction that he gives to every Westway project.

Mike Berry – National Account Manager
Mike is an experienced manager who expects the highest standards from himself and his teams and constantly looks to exceed customer expectations.
He is responsible for the Westway team of mangers covering various types of contracts, from full Facilities Management to Guaranteed Energy Management to basic PPM and Reactive maintenance. He ensures that all our contracts perform within contractual SLA and KPI’s, and that they deliver an effective use of resources, compliance with regards to Statutory Legislation and Procurement guidelines.
Mike also ensures that the Westway Management Team and Engineering Teams comply with health & safety, environmental and company quality procedures in line with. ISO 14001/18001 & 9002. On top of this, Mike is also responsible for the financial performance of all contracts.

Jamie Dale - Senior Contract Manager
Jamie’s experience is hand’s on. He started with a 4 year JIB electrical apprenticeship in electrical installation with a leading south coast contractor undertaking installation of industrial and commercial electrical systems working within occupied premises, construction sites and high profile military buildings.
Following completion of his apprenticeship, Jamie then worked as site Foreman on sizeable projects, overseeing all aspects through to commissioning and completion. Positions after this included working for local governments and working for a national FM company as a supervisor maintaining a national blue chip retailers.
As a Westway Contract Manager, Jamie’s work covers the southern region of a new major high street retailer and he’s responsible for managing a team of Store Maintenance Engineers throughout this region.

Nick Morris - Contract Manager
As a Westway Contract Manager, Nick’s main role is to manage our Fitness First contract. This comprises of assisting with the day-to-day operation, PPM schedules, quoting projects and customer liaison. Due to the nature of the contract, he needs to be able to react very quickly – to ensure that the internal environment within each club is maintained at all times.
Nick also helps us to develop the business and he assists with the continued growth of the company, not only with regards to new business but also with our existing portfolio of customers.

Nick Tanti - Operations Manager
Nick started his career in 1987 as a mechanical and electrical service apprentice with Matthew Hall - one of the leading facilities companies of its time. After ten years as a mobile engineer, he then joined Sulzer Infra (Elyo Services) from which he progressed from a Supervisor to Contracts Manager to Service Manager.
However, Elyo’s loss was our gain and in 2007 Nick joined us as an Operations Manager heading up a business unit.
His remit is to ensure continued and stable business from the key customers we currently have. He achieves this by providing a high level service, delivering technical expertise from within our engineering workforce and ensuring that there is always good reporting and communication.

Jas Dhaliwal - Contract Manager
Jas originally served an indentured apprenticeship with J&E Halls as a mechanical engineer and on completion carried out chiller and industrial refrigeration servicing and commissioning works based from the Dartford factory. From here he progressed through to R&D in the new (at that time) screw compressor technology, moving onto mobile chiller servicing and commissioning with MJN refrigeration.
Jas soon became a Contracts Engineer running a team of engineers and a medium client base.
When Jas moved to Westway his role was to develop and manage various contracts and projects, along with developing business operation systems. This meant seeing them right through to developing and managing the QA, H&S, as well as Environment compliance.
We are proud to say he has successfully taken Westway through SAFEcontractor, CHAS, REFCOM and Fgas. Along the way Jas has also gained a number of qualifications which include, HNC in mechanical engineering, C&G 2078, BESCA part L assessor and NEBOSH.

Karen Stubbings – HR Manager
Karen has worked for Westway Services Limited since 2001. During that time, she has seen the company grow year on year, and her responsibilities have grown with us. Today Karen is not only in charge of the day-to-day running of the office, she also oversees the administration staff on the Westway Help Desk. As if that isn’t enough, Karen also administers all functions of HR and payroll.

Paul Raglan Smith – Project Manager
Paul has worked within the services industry for over 20 years. This has enabled Paul to develop additional skills over and above exceptional formal qualifications held.
These skills encompass the managing of clients expectations from concept through to project completion.
Paul’s strengths are commitment to quality, service delivery and client development. Paul is a valuable and loyal member of the Westway team.
Paul has a wealth of knowledge and experience of working within business critical environments, such as DR (disaster recovery) centre’s, Data Halls and Comms Rooms.

Tim Andrew – Senior Contract Manager
Tim started working in the Building Services Industry at 17 years old with UBH Mechanical Services based in Clapham, London. Whilst here he had a thorough education on all things associated with building services from heavy oil burners to fully air conditioned buildings culminating in a City & Guilds qualification in refrigeration at Willesden College.
Tim has worked in the industry for 31 years now and has accrued a good understanding of the industry and what makes buildings operate efficiently. This includes older systems such as VAV and induction systems as well as the more modern VRV systems and associated controls. Tim has a hands on approach to any problems that arise and this assists our engineers either on site or remotely.
Tim joined Westway Services in order to be part of a team that enjoys dealing with a problem and providing a quick and permanent solution.
Tim’s role at Westway is as a Senior Contract Manager which involves looking after maintenance contracts and customers from the introductory stage through to the inception of a contract and the continuous operation. He also undertakes project work which arises from these contracts up to a value of 50K.
